The storied history of the NWA/WCW/World Championship was chronicled. You name the man, if he was a major player in the history of the business, he's held the World Title; Hogan, Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Harley Race, Buddy Rogers, Lou Thesz, all the way back to the first World Champion George Hackensmith. The bottom line was that when you won the World Championship, the company saw you as the man who could carry them to better times. Ric Flair, Booker T, DDP and The Big Show among others reminisced about holding that coveted piece of gold and what it meant to them and their careers.

HLA and the Billy and Chuck wedding were addressed. Vince told us that the HLA segment on Raw was viewed by some at totally reprehensible and they may be right, but stunting was a part of every facet of the industry he was in and as such, Vince would address controversial issues the same as anyone else did. The Billy and Chuck wedding drew massive media scrutiny as the duo appreared on Today and the Howard Stern Show among various other outlets. Vince said that there were gay people in society, so why couldn't there be gay wrestlers. Billy and Chuck were credited by the boss along with the writers for building the cahracters to the point where they could be potrayed as entertaining as opposed to in a stereotypical fashion. All that mattered to Vince was that though the critics could say what they wanted, the bottom line he was in the business of entertainment and as long as the fans were entertained, that all Vince could ask.

Fotoage of Criss Angel's death-defying Water Torture Cell illusion, Criss Angel: Submerged, was shown. The magician spent 24-hours encased in the cell in a tribute to Harry Houdini and The Big Show, Bradshaw and Kurt Angle took some time out to visit Criss at The World during the course of his aquatic endeavor. Criss talked about the motivation that his father, who died of cancer, provided and the obstacles he had to overcome including fatigue, his vision becoming blurred and the sheer factor of time itself that all came to a head upon his triumphant escape.

Torrie Wilson visited the U.K. recently to do some promotional work for Rebellion, the pay-per-view that takes place in England. The event sold out quickly so Torrie took in some of the sights and sounds, stopping to shop and converse with some fans.

Finally, Mean Gene plugged next week's show by telling us that Kurt Angle would be taking us to the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Facility, the same building that was Kurt's home away from home in his quest for a gold medal during the 1996 Games in Atlanta!
